Are you a natural coach seeking life coach training?
Well proper life coach training can offer you a rewarding career path, if you choose wisely.
Having trained hundreds of professional life coaches, youth coaches, executive coaches and many other types of coaches, I found that there are 3 helpful phases to go through.
CHECKS + CERTIFICATION + CLIENTS
PHASE 1 CHECKS
This is when you are scouting for info, reading and browsing. You might be casually curious or deeply focused on creating this career path. Either way I suggest that before you train as a professional coach, that you consider 3 checks.
- Check to see that you understand what coaching really is. Doing some research to check that you understand what life coaching really is critical. Most people don’t know that ICF accredited coaching is what I call pure coaching – where you actually don’t give advice! Shocker I know. I teach pure and blended coaching, pure no advice methods and blended with training and mentoring skills.
- Checking to see if you have what it takes to be a life coach, so that you don’t waste time or money. Perhaps start with a short course, buy some good books, or hire a coach to check by experiencing coaching. But please don’t judge the profession of coaching based on 1 coach, like any profession you get genius angels and fake egos.
- Check what coaching course is a fit for you. Shop around. But I do suggest that you look for an ICF coaching program so that you know you are getting world-class and internationally recognized life coach training.
PHASE 1 CERTIFICATION
Now roll up your sleeves and get proper certification. I feel that it’s critical to get confidence, competencies and credibility. These 3 elements will help you to be able to coach anyone, anywhere in the world.
PHASE 1 CLIENTS
Once you have your life coach certification, along with the confidence, ICF competencies and credibility, it’s time to find clients. This can be a real barrier for many if you don’t know how to attract your idea clients to you. I offer a 7 Step Dream Builder path, that helps my coaches to remain authentic and to focus on ‘serving’ instead of ‘selling’ – so that they can build sustainable and impactful coaching businesses.
Life Coaching Skills can serve ego or Wisdom.
We really do earn the privilege of changing lives, our own and others. And what really helps is to have master life coaching skills.
I invite you to learn how to build wisdom wells. How to craft and collect strong excellent buckets — which are the powerful enlightening questions that we send down into ourselves and into others, in search of wisdom. If we don’t know how to craft and collect strong buckets, how to coach in this meaningful way, we come up empty. Our buckets leak, or are too small to gather the clear water of our inner wealth.
I want you to know exactly how to coach in a way that brings wisdom to the surface.
So that you can help yourself and others to make wise decisions, to have breakthroughs, to enlighten the heart the mind and the being.
That is why I created InnerLifeSkills, a professional coaching methodology that combines ICF (International Coaching Federation) accredited coaching competencies with my unique Wisdom Well building coaching processes.
With one click from any device, you meet our team of expert coach trainers online for our weekly Life Coach training, Enneagram coach training or In-tuition Coach training programs — to become a certified InnerLifeSkills Master Coach.
